Information we may collect

Depending on the relationship, this may include name, professional contact details, employer, job title, career history, qualifications, practice area, professional interests, publicly available professional information, recruitment preferences, correspondence, interview or process notes, client or mandate information and other information voluntarily provided to us.

For legal search and market mapping, professional information may also be obtained from public or professional sources such as law firm websites, professional directories, public deal information, LinkedIn and other business information services.

How we use information

We may use personal information to provide partner advisory and recruitment services; identify and assess potentially relevant candidates or opportunities; communicate about roles, mandates and market developments; manage client and candidate relationships; maintain business records; protect our legal rights; and meet legal, regulatory and compliance obligations.

Candidate information is not intended to be presented to a prospective employer as a formal candidate introduction without an appropriate basis for doing so. Sensitive or confidential information is handled in line with the circumstances of the relevant search or advisory process.

ZRS works across the UK and US legal markets. This can involve information being accessed or shared internationally. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we take steps intended to ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism or protection is in place.

Retention

This website currently uses only essential technologies required to operate, secure and deliver the service you request. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking cookies or similar technologies.
